AES Filing Services (ITN for Export)​​

​All Cleared Customs Brokerage provides customs broker AES Filing services for individual cross border vehicle exports from USA to Canada / Mexico, and also Ocean and Air Cargo exports. For exports leaving the United States, the Electronic Export Information (EEI) is required by U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the U.S. Census Bureau to notify them within the time frame alloted for each mode of export. ​Services are available to both Individual Exporters and Freight Forwarders.

 

For Cross Border vehicle exports, please complete the AES Filing Form, and to contact us via phone or email to start service. ACCB is a nationally licensed customs broker authorized to file AES to CBP for all 50 states to obtain your ITN Number to export.

 

The AES Filing timeframe varies for each mode of transport and is important to get this completed to avoid wait times at the border or delayed shipping. Please note the 72 hour notifcation requirement for cross border vehicle exports starts when you email or contact the CBP border port of your ITN Number, not when the AES is filed. Exporters are advised to file the AES to obtain their ITN in advance 4-5 days before the intended border crossing export date as it may take at least 1 day for the AES filer to complete the filing so you can notify CBP within 72 hours your ITN.

Example: John Smith intends to cross the Niagra Buffalo border to Canada on Jan 7th. He should get started with AES Filing no later than Jan 2nd, as it may take at least a day to file the AES to obtain the ITN Number. On Jan 3rd, he receives the copy of the AES Filing with ITN Number, and then emails the Niagra Buffalo CBP port to notify them of the ITN Number according to their instructions. The date John emails CBP Port is when the 72 hour notifcation is validated, not when the AES was filed.
